Terms of Use
Product-specific terms for the HalalInspector mobile-first ecosystem and its platform services.
Effective date: September 28, 2026
These supplemental terms govern HalalInspector, the mobile-first successor to Amna, and HalalInspector platform services provided by WebbieFourth. If you obtain the app through Apple's App Store, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies unless a custom EULA is supplied through App Store Connect.
Informational purpose — not halal certification
HalalInspector helps users investigate foods, ingredients, products, places and supporting evidence. A database entry, barcode result, public-data record, community contribution, automated extraction, check-in, review, purchase confirmation or platform label is not by itself a halal certificate, fatwa, religious ruling, guarantee of permissibility, or guarantee that a product or establishment meets a particular certifier's standard.
Users remain responsible for evaluating the source, date, scope and reliability of information and, where appropriate, consulting qualified scholars, certifiers, manufacturers or establishments.
Accounts and identity
Some features require Sign in with Apple. You must use your own account and provide accurate information. Business, staff and moderation privileges are controlled platform permissions; a profile name, local test role, code or device possession does not by itself establish business ownership or administrative authority.
Community, review and business content
If you submit a review, post, photo, business claim, response, offer, evidence or other content, you are responsible for having the right to submit it and for its accuracy to the best of your knowledge. Do not submit unlawful, defamatory, deceptive, infringing, private or confidential information that you are not authorized to share.
WebbieFourth may moderate, reject, withdraw, correct, label or restrict submitted content or platform privileges when reasonably necessary for integrity, safety, legal compliance, dispute handling or enforcement of these terms. A business owner does not obtain a right to remove an otherwise eligible negative review merely because it is unfavorable.
Check-ins, purchases and evidence
Location and purchase-confirmation features provide evidence signals, not certainty. A location can be inaccurate or spoofed; a receipt image is a submission rather than proof of payment; and a bilateral in-app purchase confirmation does not process payment or independently prove settlement. Do not use these features to misrepresent a visit, purchase, business relationship or product status.
External information and services
HalalInspector may use Apple services and public product-information sources such as Open Food Facts. External data and services can be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate or unavailable and are governed by their own terms. WebbieFourth is not responsible for third-party services beyond the extent required by applicable law.
Acceptable use
You may not attempt to bypass account or role controls, impersonate another person or business, fabricate evidence, manipulate reviews or metrics, scrape or overload the service in a harmful manner, probe private systems without authorization, upload malware, or use the app to violate law or another person's rights.
Service changes and availability
HalalInspector is an actively developed ecosystem. Features, data sources, moderation procedures and platform services may change. WebbieFourth does not promise uninterrupted availability of development, beta or external services. Material changes to these terms will be posted with a new effective date.
Account deletion
Where an online account is available, the app provides an account-deletion flow for supported account data. Local-device erasure and private iCloud-profile deletion are separate controls. Certain records may need to be preserved where required by law, security, fraud prevention, dispute handling or integrity obligations; production retention rules should be reviewed before commercial release.
Support and disputes
Questions about product operation, privacy, moderation or these terms should be submitted through WebbieFourth's contact form so that the request can be routed appropriately.
