WebbieFourth gives you the tools to be safe online, do not take your privacy for granted.

If you're reading this help page that means it is not your first time accessing our application. Unless you're reading this help message on our web site, that means you've viewed and accepted our agreement within WebbieFourth.

Whether you're on your computer or using WebbieFourth, the first thing you're required to do is to read and accept our End User License Agreement (EULA). once you've done that you will land at our Tab Manager page.

The Tab Manager is where all the fun takes place.

  • Add Browser Tab:
  • You can add a new browser tab to your brower by tapping softly, twice, on the screen where it says so. A new tab with default image will appear. A new tab can, also, be created from within an already open browser tab. Click the Menu button and choose New Tab.

  • Open Link from web page:
  • A link on a web page can be opened in a new browser tab. Just touch and hold the link for a few moments and a popup menu will provide you multiple functions one of which is Link in New Tab.

  • Close Browser Tab:
  • To close a newly opened tab or one of the already opened tabs, all you have to do is swipe that tab up with your finger and it gets removed from your tab manager. If you have opened several tab and you want to close a specific one, touch and roll the tabs rollodex of to get to the desired tab. To close the tab just swipe it up with your finger and it is closed. A browser tab can only be closed from the Tab Manager. If you're viewing a tab, go to the Tab Manager and siwipe the tab up.

  • Web Browsing:
  • Usually newly created tabs are blank, unless you've opened one from the Browsing History side menu. While at the Tab Manager tap softly on the image of a tab. It will spring a browser view for you.

In the location bar, type the url you want to visit and WebbieFourth will open that page for you. Just like a regular web browser on your computer, WebbieFourth will open a web page for you the only difference is that your connection is encrypted using TOR. TOR provides layered network encryption, (visit torproject.org for more information.) This means almost no one can find out what you're reading online.

It should be clear to you that WebbieFourth is not to provide a map of what is right (good) or wrong (bad) content for you. It is the operator (YOU) who knows right and wrong. WebbieFourth is just a piece of software that means to provide the tools for you to do your business in private. As our EULA has explained, WebbieFourth is not endorsing, condoning or condemning your online activities nor we're held responsible for your use of this application in any form. This part had to be wedged in here just in case you did not pay attention to the EULA!

  • Browser Operations:
  • A browser tab has a menu with a standard set of web browser operations available. Also a button to take you back to the Tab Manager is provided at the right top side of the browser tab. These functions inclue: Close menu, Exit, New Identity, New Tab, Bookmark, View Bookmark, Settings and History. Some of these functions will not be available for newly opened browser tabs.

  • Go to Tab Manager
  • Click the Tab Manager button to go back to a set of browser tab thumbnails. If no web site was visited all the images of the tabs will be the default image. As you visit third party web sites a thumbnail for these sites will be stored in the application cache which will become the image of the tab in the rollodex. These images make it easy to scroll through the sites that you've opened. Then you can choose to browse that site or simply swipe the image up to close the web page.

  • Page Navigation
  • When more than one browser tab is open a user can move back and forth between these tabs by simply swiping right or left while veiwing a page. The pages will keep scrolling in a circular motion as long as you swipe right or left. While in the Tab Manager screen, you can circle through the tabs, right or left, until you find the page you want. Tab the page image to open the site.
