This document concerns the Portraint browser app. References to offline documents and policy screens describe screens inside the app, not this website. Other Portraint products have separate policies.
Using this product
These terms apply to your use of this product. They do not introduce a VPN subscription, replace third-party licenses or limit mandatory consumer rights. Use the product only as permitted by applicable laws and the agreements for your selected network services. Contact WebbieFourth at webbiefourth@gmail.com with questions.
Purpose and permission
Use the browser only on devices, networks and services you are authorized to use, and follow applicable laws and service agreements. You choose whether to enable content filtering, use private tabs or establish a VPN/Tor route. System permissions and valid connection configuration may be required. A route can replace or conflict with another VPN.
Protection limits
Blocking targets requests and elements represented in bundled rules. It cannot guarantee removal of every ad, tracker, cookie banner, popup or threat. Rules can be outdated or contain false positives. Browser filtering is not antivirus software, universal device-wide filtering, or a guarantee that public Wi-Fi is safe. Keep your device updated and use appropriate security practices.
Clear Net and DNS
Clear Net does not add a VPN tunnel or hide your public IP. DNS-over-HTTPS protects supported DNS lookups to the selected resolver, not every connection. VPN/Tor routing and content filtering are separate choices. Check the displayed route and protection status rather than treating a system VPN indicator as proof of a particular privacy guarantee.
Site compatibility and your controls
Blocking can remove page elements, leave blank spaces or prevent legitimate features from working. Reader Mode deliberately changes the presentation of suitable pages. You can disable optional ad/tracker filtering or use its site exceptions; these do not bypass separate threat-domain blocks. Sites and services have their own access rules and may not work with filtering or a selected route. The app does not promise that blocked or reformatted content is identical to the original page.
Saved data and third parties
Manage saved tabs, bookmarks, history, downloads, exported files and profiles using the appropriate controls. Keep backups of important information. Websites, search providers, network operators and third-party apps have their own terms and practices. The browser does not grant rights to third-party content.
Third-party software and rules
Dependencies and rule datasets retain their own license terms. Third-Party Licenses shows the available bundled notices, source records. These statements do not replace those licenses or restrict rights they grant. Third-party licenses may also require corresponding source or other distribution materials. Reliability and backups
Back up important configurations and saved information. Do not rely on this app as your sole protection for critical activity. Features depend on device permissions, network availability, operating-system behavior and the services you select. Updates may change features or compatibility. Check the displayed connection and protection status.
